I'm sure Heath Shuler [democrat] thinks he's doing the decent thing by appearing at a Civitas Conference featuring some of the most rabid right-wingnuts in the country . . . .

Presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani will open the conference. Other speakers include U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Dole, South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, former Maryland Gov. Bob Ehrlich, former Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael Steele, and U.S. Reps. Virginia Foxx, Patrick McHenry and Health Shuler (a Democrat). The three GOP candidates for governor -- Bill Graham, Bob Orr and Fred Smith -- will speak. So will conservative activists Grover Norquist and Richard Viguerie.
I really do find it useful to visit left wing, liberal, progressive, democrat and socialist blogs and news sites. The one I have posted above is supposedly a democrat site. They claim they are moderate.
I visit at least one representative site from each of the left of center groups among these liberal and left wing blogs and news sites every day. One of the things that happens is you quickly find out there is no difference between these supposedly different groups. They all espouse the same things. They all use the same insulting and denigrating language for even the most moderate of Republicans, including people like John McCain. The web sites for all these groups all make the same extreme charges. They all hate Republicans with the same partisan fanaticism.
When you cannot tell the difference between a global socialist from France or Cuba, dedicated to the destruction of America, and the rantings of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, dedicated to the destruction of the Republican Party, you have to wonder about anyone who continues to vote for the democrat party. Their rhetoric is the same. Their accusations are the same. They insult everyone on the right with the same exagerated claims and lies.
Since the majority of the democrat party is socialist and traitorous, those democrats who are not socialist and traitorous have to accept some insults they may not like in return. If you are a democrat you have aligned yourself with people who are dedicated to the destruction of free enterprise and want America to lose all wars. Please pardon us if we cannot notice that you personally may not be a traitor and dedicated to the destruction of America.
Since you have voluntarily aligned yourself with people who are dedicated to the destruction of free enterprise and America, how are we supposed to tell the difference?

Dean, look for me at the 1st CD GOP Convention, but, more importantly, look for my new boss, that shameless Rightwing Extreme new Republican leader of the House Paul "Skip" Stam.
If you've read Eric Hoffer, you've stumbled upon the most powerful of unifying agents for any mass movement: Hatred. Amazing how few Republican know how vital a role they play as unifying agents in the Soros/Democrat Mass Movement. If we didn't exist, they would have to make us up.
The more sophistocated among them, and they are few in number, know how important a role this is for us to play. They even bait traps for us to bite. Once they see Republicans as human, the whole movement falls apart. Hope to see you Saturday, if not, you live in one of the enviably beautiful parts of the State. Hope business is good. Did you have that beard when we last met, I think in (Little) Washington, at the Down East (GOP) Club, or maybe it was last year's First District Double Confab. Keep up the Blog!
