Who Broke Politics?

Barack Obama didn’t hang around the Senate cloakroom long enough to pick up the word on Joe Biden. He didn’t realize that Biden is something of a joke in the Senate.

You have to wonder about the "potential" wonder when he picks as his running mate, the third most liberal Senator, a man who has never been a leader in his own party much less a leader in the nation, and who was run out of the Democrat Party Presidential Primary with about the same number of votes than Governor Sarah Palin got running for Mayor of her home town!

This is a useful article about the egregious process by which Joe Biden has destroyed bi-partisan comity in the U.S. Senate. Obama talks about a new kind of politics. What he means is that he plans to make it even more vicious and petty than it has ever been. I don't think that is the change the American people are looking for.
