Ruin Your Health With ... Obama

The Obama Bailout (the second one, not the Bush Bailout that has already failed) has some egregious subversions of your liberties and freedom included within it.

One new bureaucracy, the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology, will monitor treatments to make sure your doctor is doing what the federal government deems appropriate and cost effective. The goal is to reduce costs and “guide” your doctor’s decisions (442, 446).

Hospitals and doctors that are not “meaningful users” of the new system will face penalties. “Meaningful user” isn’t defined in the bill. That will be left to the HHS secretary, who will be empowered to impose “more stringent measures of meaningful use over time” (511, 518, 540-541)

What penalties will deter your doctor from going beyond the electronically delivered protocols when your condition is atypical or you need an experimental treatment? The vagueness is intentional.

The duplicitous and deceitful Alinsky advocate, Barack Obama, is using this new Second Bailout Bill to secretly establish the kind of bureaucratic mandate over doctors that Bill Clinton's subversive rewrite of the CRA did to criminalize failure to grant a loan to a minority. That egregious subversion of liberty resulted in the housing mess that has created our current crisis. This time the government intends to criminalize any act by a doctor that interferes with a bureaucrat determining who gets medical care and what care they receive.

There is nothing moderate or reasonable in this huge new power grab by the most deceitful and duplicitous President in our nation's history. The fear of socialism some of his have felt since Obama started to gain traction in his campaign is coming true almost immediately. What is especially strange is the support among the elderly who think that rationing health care, based on the number of years left in someone's life, will not strip them of health care they need.

Obama is selling fear because that is all he has to sell. A large part of his supporters would abandon him in second if they truly understood what he is doing. HE is what is frightening. His young supporters simply do not 'get it'.
