Media Myth Debunked:

Almost No Temperature Records Broken in Last Week's 'Record-Breaking Heat'

All last week, global warming-obsessed media were rife with reports about record-breaking heat.

Problem is, according to the National Climatic Data Center, and marvelously reported by the Hockey Schtick Sunday, almost no temperature records were actually broken:

However the chicken little press has drummed it into our heads that the couple of records broken constitute some huge crisis proving that global warming is real.

None of the much more numerous cold records from last winter meant it was getting colder. During that period of extreme cold it was repeated constantly that "the cold weather... [Wait for it]

...proved global warming."

In other words a lot of cold records proves global warming. A few hot records proves global warming. Even rigged data that shows no increase in warming until "scientists who believe in global warming adjust the data" proves global warming.

If the sun comes up, the global warming crowd "crows" that it proves global warming is real. It doesn't. It merely proves they think we are all stupid as the chickens who listen to the rooster.
