Queen Of Cringe
Hillary's Bogus 'Black-Cent'

By Michelle Malkin - April 25, 2007 - New York Post

Interviewed by The Washington Post in the wake of the Los Angeles riots, [Sister]Souljah had wondered aloud: "If Black people kill Black people every day, . . . "why not have a week and kill white people?"

Bill Clinton took to the bully pulpit at the Rainbow Coalition and denounced Sister Souljah. "If you took the words 'white' and 'black' and you reversed them," he lectured sternly, "you might think David Duke was giving that speech."

Political cheerleaders framed this as an act of political bravery - publicly repudiating an extremist racial separatist's rhetoric to demonstrate independence from minority grievance-mongers in the Democrat Party.

Sen. Clinton - whom conventional wisdom mistakenly casts as the smarter, more disciplined politician of the household - didn't learn from her hubby's Sister Souljah triumph. She turned it on its head: Instead of dissociation with racial extremists, she has chosen ingratiation.

What is the strategy of the Democrat Party? Their leading candidate for President stokes the fires of racist acrimony. Their leader in the Senate declares defeat in a major battle against the biggest war of this generation. Their Speaker of the House packs an emergency military appropriation bill with pork in volation of every past practice of our nation.

That strategy would have to be defined as racist, appeasement, tax and spend as it has never been.

The reaction of the press is to laud this strategy and claim it assures that democrats will dominate in 2008. This is what the American people want we are assured by the liberal press. They love it. It is still to be seen whether the American people love it.

I don't believe even a majority of the democrat party voters really buys this strategy. Do you?
