Oil Is NOT A Fossil Fuel
And AGW Is Non-science

by Peter J. Morgan - July 14th, 2008 - Canada Free Press

. . . scientists and engineers found that oil is not a ‘fossil fuel’ but is a natural product of planet earth – the high-temperature, high-pressure continuous reaction between calcium carbonate and iron oxide – two of the most abundant compounds making up the earth’s crust. This continuous reaction occurs at a depth of approximately 100 km at a pressure of approximately 50,000 atmospheres (5 GPa) and a temperature of approximately 1500°C, and will continue more or less until the ‘death’ of planet earth in millions of years’ time. The high pressure, as well as centrifugal acceleration from the earth’s rotation, causes oil to continuously seep up along fissures in the earth’s crust into subterranean caverns, which we call oil fields.

This truth has been known for many years. It is likely that at some point we will cease being able to find enough to satisfy man's need for energy, even as more oil/coal is being produced. Partly that is because we will by then have such a large need for each person's requirements, and such a large population, that only nuclear energy will satisfy our insatiable demand. By then, nuclear will be common and oil will become like whale oil, an historical anomaly.

This article probes some of the more interesting issues about why this truth is not better known. Everyone who is involved in geology and oil exploration knows that planet earth is producing more oil each and every day. Why is it that our politicians and news reporters are so ignorant? Do they not ever talk with anyone who knows what the truth is? If they don't, why not?
