Fat Is The New Smoking

Mind you, the obesity epidemic burst onto the scene when the government changed their obesity ratings by using a bogus Body Mass Index (BMI) chart so off base that muscular people like The Rock or Arnold Schwarzenegger would suddenly be rated obese. Many athletes are rated as obese under these standards.

But the media naturally just ran with the press releases that claimed there was a sudden obesity epidemic sweeping the nation. And then came the articles stating it was causing health costs to soar and something must be done about it.

They are using the obese as a scapegoat for health costs. And now airlines are making fat people pay double for air fare. The reason fat people spill over into the next seat is because they keep making the seats narrower. They have been doing that for years. And suddenly, with the obesity epidemic, it “became a problem.” If you read the comments on some of the articles talking about it there are lots of rabble saying things like “Good! Make those fatties pay triple!”

Such comments are the comments of hate. Barack Obama and his minions are the equal of the hate filled bigots who have gotten power in other socialist nations. They constantly look for scapegoats. The famous poem by Martin Niemoller, "When they came for the Jews I did nothing because I wasn't a Jew" has many variations, but they all end with one lesson for history. "When they came for me there was no one left to speak out."

America is sitting idle as our freedoms are destroyed by Obama and the Democrats. I guess the old adage that those who do not remember history are condemned to repeat it is still as true as it ever was. On a daily basis I hear more and more people refer to America as a Banana Republic. If you want to make a difference you can get involved and unite on the one important issue right now. Don't require that every single personal wish be satisfied by someone in the Republican Party before you will vote for them. Know only that unless we stop the Democrats, America is finished and freedom is dead.
