Dead People Get Stimulus Checks

This week, thousands of people are getting stimulus checks in the mail. The problem is that a lot of them are dead. A Long Island woman was shocked when she checked the mail and received a letter from the U.S. Treasury -- but it wasn't for her.

Antoniette Santopadre of Valley Stream was expecting a $250 stimulus check. But when her son finally opened it, they saw that the check was made out to her father, Romolo Romonini, who died in Italy 34 years ago.

This is one of those times when I wish we had some choice other than [scroll down] to create a delay, because the punch line on this story TRULY deserves the old comedic delay. The lady's father, Romolo Romonin, NEVER received social security.

So how did this person, who was never a recipient of social security, get a check? This is not something that Obama can blame on Bush because it never happened on Bush's watch. Did his being a Democrat mean he was on some dead Democrat voter's list somewhere that somehow got confused with the social security list? I mean if he was voting for Obama maybe Obama felt he deserved a payoff like the UAW illegal payoff Obama rigged in the Chrysler and GM bankruptcies.

Who would have expected that Obama's habit of taking both sides of every issue would have caused him to get confused about the difference between who is alive and who is dead.
