Holder Ill Serves His ‘People’
Editorial - March 2nd, 2011 - The Washington Times
Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. played the race card in congressional testimony on Tuesday, referring to blacks as his “people” while neglecting the rest of Americans. That race-based lens pervades his Justice Department, causing consistently skewed enforcement of the law.

Mr. Holder has a history of stoking racial resentments. In 2009, he quipped that “in things racial” Americans form “a nation of cowards.”

Mr. Holder doesn’t understand that while he’s attorney general, his “people” are all citizens of the United States, not just black Americans.
I don't think either Holder or Obama misunderstands the premise that they represent all of the people or our nation. I think they reject the premise. For them, it is all about payback. For them, it is "their turn on top." That is why they have ignored the legislature's overwhelming vote for the Defense of Marriage act and unilaterally declared it unconstitutional without any input from the courts. That is why they continue to move forward with Obamacare even though it has been declared un-Constitutional by the courts at this point. They do not believe anyone can tell them what to do. They see their power as unlimited. When it comes down to it, I suspect they will ignore the Supreme Court too.
They simply do not care what anyone else thinks.
