Local Veterans Throw Overwhelming Support Behind McCain

As Arizona Senator John McCain wrapped up several key primary victories throughout California, waves of old military men from Silicon Valley flowed into the the American Legion Hall in Santa Clara on Tuesday night to cheer on their candidate.

This article serves as a reminder that there are strong conservatives in the military who are unconcerned with anything but the key issue of our time, the war against Islamo-fascism. This group overwhelmingly supports John McCain. During this campaign I have come to believe they are right. He is actually better on this issue than the candidate that I originally favored, Rudy Giuliani. They remain indifferent to his many shortcomings on other issues important to conservatives. It may be that is the only issue that matters though. If we lose the war, none of the rest is important.
