Do Facts Matter?

. . . the country does not deserve to be put in the hands of a glib and cocky know-it-all, who has accomplished absolutely nothing beyond the advancement of his own career with rhetoric, and who has for years allied himself with a succession of people who have openly expressed their hatred of America.

This is a very good summation of the case that Democrats own this mortgage triggered fiscal crisis. However it is also a very good summation of the lack of clarity by Republicans about what they stand for. George Bush took over a party of conservative free enterprise patriots, and has turned it into the party of socialist, pro-life, all that matters is winning the war even if the public has turned against it, unwilling to counter-attack . . . well really losers.
