Earth On The Brink Of An Ice Age

by Staff - January 121th, 2009 - Pravda

The earth is now on the brink of entering another Ice Age, according to a large and compelling body of evidence from within the field of climate science. Many sources of data which provide our knowledge base of long-term climate change indicate that the warm, twelve thousand year-long Holocene period will rather soon be coming to an end, and then the earth will return to Ice Age conditions for the next 100,000 years.

There is little chance this will influence any of the extremists in the Obama campaign. The goal of Carol Browner, the Obama climate Czar, is not a stable climate. It is socialism.

The facts about global warming have never been based on any factual assessment of what is happening to our climate. They have been based on blatantly manipulative computer "projections" that have always had a political agenda.

The problem is that our gullible press, sharing the socialist agenda of the climate fear mongers, has fed the most apocalyptic of the projections to the public with claims they are proven science. Though these claims are blatant lies, they have created a fear of the consequences of not acting. This of course was always the intention of the chicken little proponents of "global warming".

The explanation for CO2 increases cited in this article is a compelling reason to doubt any of the hypothetical computer generated claims of "global warming".

The reason that global CO2 levels rise and fall in response to the global temperature is because cold water is capable of retaining more CO2 than warm water. That is why carbonated beverages loose their carbonation, or CO2, when stored in a warm environment. We store our carbonated soft drinks, wine, and beer in a cool place to prevent them from loosing their ‘fizz’, which is a feature of their carbonation, or CO2 content. The earth is currently warming as a result of the natural Ice Age cycle, and as the oceans get warmer, they release increasing amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere.

The real problem our nation faces is a serious need to act and act quickly to produce a powerful cheap energy capability to alleviate the ice age that is assuredly coming. We need to be drilling for oil, producing coal, looking for natural gas, building nuclear power plants and creating new hydro electic plants. The reason these should be the focus of our efforts is simple. There is no problem with carbon fuels and the above list are by far the cheapest forms of energy attainable. That should be our priority.

The question is not whether an ice age is coming but whether it is ten years or a hundred years in our future. "Global warming" is not a concern at all.
