Catch Me If You Can

President Obama keeps repeating over and over that his plan does not include any cuts in Medicare. But the legislation he is supporting specifies $500 billion in reduced funding for Medicare, scored by CBO. When arguing that his health overhaul is paid for, he wants credit for these cuts. But when challenged, he wants to deny before the whole country in broad daylight that he is doing it. I can't recall any precedent for such a Presidential disconnect from reality.
Disconnect from reality? Try outright lying. That is what Obama is doing. The numerous "disconnects" are well identified in this article, including a specific example of Obama living up to his promise to the far left to eliminate private plans in the long run with his clear goal of eliminating Medicare Advantage.
The biggest frustration I have is that Obama is doing exactly what he has long promised the socialists and Marxists of America he would do, while simultaneously insisting that he has never said those things and that anyone who accuses him of that motivation is lying about his intent.
Catch me if you can? No President in history has been permitted to lie this obviously and blatantly and get away with it. Why is the MSM letting Obama do it?
