The President Who Hates His Country

Today, we have a new crop of inveterate America- and Jew-haters, among them the Marxist leader of Venezuela Hugo Chavez, Nicaragua’s president Daniel Ortega, Iran’s “death-to-America-and-Israel” study-in-abnormal-psychology Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and the ever-sabotage-America and anti-Semitic “leaders” of the 22-Arab states that surround Israel.

I have either read about or observed firsthand all of these people. Yet in my decades of commenting on the political scene, I cannot recall a single leader of any country or regime who has ever spoken negatively of his country or tolerated others speaking ill of the land or the people he represented.

Until now.

Bizarre and, yes, repugnant as it is to our essentially centrist country, America now has a president who has broken that time-honored tradition. Barack Obama, on the campaign trail and as the leader of the free world is the first U.S. president to proclaim to anyone within earshot that he, like his wife, is not proud of his country, and is all-too-willing to offer serial apologies – for America! – to Americans and foreigners alike.

Joan has to arrange for an article like this to be published in Canada because our America hating press would never allow it in any of their liberal newspapers. This is a long article because the litany of outrages perpetrated by Barack Obama against America has already grown so long that it takes a long article just to make up the list. No other President in history could have a similar article written about them, even Jimmy Carter. None has a list so long even after a complete term in office. This is written about Obama after 100 days.

Richard Nixon was a popular Republican until he started to believe that a President could do things that were illegal for others. If the President does it it is not illegal was an attitude which Nixon found out was not true. President Obama said last week that he'd override the contractual and legal rights of Chrysler's senior lenders and carve up the company between the government and the United Auto Workers. This Nixonian attitude is contemptible.

The Obama regime will not get better. It will simply get worse. The problem is that this must read article will never be seen by the overwhelming majority of the Obama worshipers. They only listen to his adoring main stream media. Thus their adoration will continue. As sad as it is, after 40 years of indoctrination in our public schools, too many Americans are williing to hate America with a little Obama prompting.
