Last Night I Was Sad Today I Am Mad

We are in the midst of a revolution and freedom is losing. This is a revolution that will determine the future course, not just of America, but of mankind. I have been reading articles for about 4 hours this morning and the consequence of this election is even worse than I feared. When upset I usually don't post, but the one thought that keeps coursing through my mind is the reality that I may have little time left to express what free thoughts I have.

In every revolution, the tyrannical winners end freedom of the press first. This is likely to happen soon here in America. Harry Reid is already insisting that the airwaves are too important to allow free speech, and has promised the return of the "fairness doctrine" to talk radio. This will allow liberals to outlaw conservatives such as Rush Limbaugh. You can be damn sure that Reid will not apply that principal to the overwhelmingly socialist dogma that spews from our liberal Main Stream Media. Quite the converse. Obama started to ban conservative newspapers from his press coverage even before he won. You can be quite sure that there will be no outrage from communist front organizations like the New York Times and the Washington Post over banning freedom of speech. That principal is reserved for freedom of communist speech.

There was a publicly announced plan to sue anyone who criticized Obama, and it was implemented in a couple of places during this campaign. This will get worse very fast. Thanks to John McCain, the legal foundation for these lawsuits is in place. The irony of conservatism being destroyed by a law he passed is probably not something McCain is happy to acknowledge. Few of us in the conservative press have the financial ability to resist these lawsuits and so the result will be our quick demise.

By the time of the next election, Barack Obama will have an even more obsequious press than he had this time. Good luck hearing anything but his class warfare rhetoric by then. It is by such tactics that America, the most free nation on Earth, has abandoned liberty.
