It's Starting

Obama’s DHS seizes 75 domain names [over 400 web servers], shuts down sites without notice or due process.

by Ben Hart - November 27th, 2010 - Escape Tyranny

The problems with these actions are:

1) Not all domain names seized and sites shut down are criminal enterprises. Some of the targets of the Department of Homeland Security appear to be innocent site owners...

2) Under our Constitution and system of government, the U.S. government is not entitled to deprive citizens of their property without due process of law. Domain names of U.S. citizens are being seized and sites shut down without warning, without a court hearing, without due process...

3) ... the Obama Administration is targeting criminals and unpopular sites as a trial run, to set a precedent that it has the authority to seize domain names and shut down any site it wants — i.e. blogs and conservative news sites Obama doesn’t like...

4) The Department of Homeland Security was set up to protect America from terrorist attacks, mostly launched from foreign countries. So why is DHS spearheading the domain seizures of sites owned and operated by U.S. citizens...

Why is a hip-hop music download site a DHS national security issue?

With the refusal by the DHS to stop WikiLeaks, it is clear that Obama has no problem with that particular violation of the law on treason. It is only a violation of law that Obama's progressive friends in the music industry oppose that warrants his attention. This is step one in their net neutrality campaign to bypass congress and shut down conservative sites. Where are the conservatives who value our freedoms? Why is no one outraged at the abuse of liberty?

Holding Sarah Palin To Her Promise

by Robert Eugene Simmons, Jr. - November 26th, 2010 - The American Thinker

Mrs. Palin also has a unique trait that comes with few politicians of our time. That is the ability to see that the law is done regardless of her personal beliefs. Personally, I am an agnostic and libertarian, and when I see that she vetoed a law that denied benefits to same-sex couples in Alaska -- not because of her religious beliefs, but because it was unconstitutional according to the Alaskan constitution -- I stand up and cheer. A governor putting her beliefs first would approve the law and take their chances with the court, but Palin chose the novel path of obeying her oath of office. A president is a servant of the people charged with enforcing the constitution and protecting the people from all enemies of the USA. It is not for the president or a governor to "interpret" or otherwise circumvent the law. When asked about the veto, Palin responded that if people wish to change the constitution, then there is a process for that.

The left ignores Palin's veto of this law. Ignores? No actually they even deny it is true, just as they make ignorant excuses for the effective way Governor Palin got the pipeline across Candada approved, the largest privately funded project EVER. When I asked a local Palin hater about her veto of this law denying same sex benefits, he adamantly refused to believe it was true. He would not look it up. He would not consider the possiblity I was transmitting information he had not heard. He simply cursed me and denied it was true.

It is why I have stopped arguing with these hate mongering idiots. When they denouce Palin, I simply block them.

Allen West, One Of Two
Black Republicans Just Elected
To House, Goes Against Grain

by Krissah Thompson - November 24th, 2010 - Washington Post

Allen West, a 22-year Army veteran, is preparing for Washington a bit like he would for a battlefield. His "high and tight" hairstyle will be one of the only buzz cuts in Congress. He plans to carry a camouflage bag, not a briefcase.

And on a recent morning, while others in the Republican Party's large incoming freshman class jockeyed for office space, he declared himself largely indifferent.

"I've lived in tents," said West, who in January will become the first black Republican to represent Florida since 1876.

You would think that someone writing for the Washington Post could actually write an article and put some useful information into it. Yet Krissah Thompson cannot even include the basics of who Col. Allen West is for fear you might admire him for more than her attempts to portray him as confrontational and belligerent.

In case you care, here is the basic information that would have been included had Lt. Col. West had not been a Republican this left wing radical writer was trying to smear. West holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee, a Masters in Political Science from Kansas State University, and Master of Military Arts and Science degree from the US Army Command and General Staff College, Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. He is an accomplished historian and defender of our Constitution. He completed the Airborne Jumpmaster course at Ft. Benning and was awarded the Bronze Star for his courage in battle.

Col. West is married to Dr. Angela M. Graham-West of Kingston Jamaica. Mrs. West holds an MBA and Ph.D. She has been described by her supporters as an amazing and strong woman. Clearly Col. West has no problem with strong women which may be why Sarah Palin endorsed him early in his campaign. Mrs. West is a financial planner and expert in our free enterprise system. Col. West is committed to free enterprise and seems quite conversant with its principles. The West's have two daughters: Aubrey, 15, and Austen, 11.

To left wing radicals like the writer Thompson, Col. West fired a weapon near a captive enemy's head. To his troops, Col. West sacrificed his career to save their lives. Because that is what the incident mentioned is all about. The lives of his soldiers. Though you would never know that if all you read was the trite recitation of selected facts from the smear written by the Washington Post's writer.

The way that West was ignored by Republican leadership in his first run for office is a perfect example of where his strength of support came from. He was one of the Tea Party movements favorite speakers and they gave him money, support, campaign workers and adoration. The left has tried to denigrate him from day one as he makes a mockery of everything they say about the Tea Party movement and Republicans in general.

To Col. West I can only say, Hoo Rah!

Mexican Marines Reconstruct
Death Of Don Alejo Garza Tamez

by Ovemex - November 22nd, 2010 - Borderland Beat

A lone rancher, a man who worked a lifetime to be able to enjoy the fruits of his labor such as his ranch, had defended it to his death.

In the last hunt of his life, Don Alejo surprised the group of assassins who wanted to impose the same law on his ranch that they had on the State, the law of the jungle.

The marines who were present will never forget the scene: a 77 year old man, who before death, took out four gunmen [and left two others near death], fighting the same as the best soldiers: with dignity, courage, and honor.

Rest in Peace Don Alejo Garza Tamez

I pray for the soul of this man of courage. A man of his word. May God welcome him to eternal peace.

Who Fed The Tiger?

by Pat Buchanan - November 18th, 2010 - World Net Daily

For decades, corporate America [read Wall Street and our giant corporations] championed investing in China and trade with China, though the massive transfer of U.S. factories, technologies and jobs was clearly empowering China and weakening America.

Now, with U.S. political, military, industrial and strategic decline vis a vis China manifest to the world, we hear the wails of American businessmen that they are not being treated fairly by the Chinese. And the politicians responsible for building up China are now talking tough about confronting and containing China.

Sorry, but that cat cannot be walked back.

Review commission chair Dan Slane says his members have concluded that "China is adopting a highly discriminatory policy of favoring domestic producers over foreign manufacturers. Under the guise of fostering 'indigenous innovation' ... the government of China appears determined to exclude foreigners from bidding on government contracts at the central, provincial and local levels."

Imagine that! The Chinese are ignoring WTO rules and putting China first. Don't they understand how the Global Economy works? You're not supposed to tilt the field in favor of the home team.

One knows not whether to laugh or cry.

The policy the Chinese are pursuing, economic nationalism, was virtually invented by the Republican Party. Protectionism was the declared policy of the GOP from the day its first president took office in 1861 to the day Calvin Coolidge left in 1929.

Free trade was the policy of a Great Britain whose clocks those generations of Americans cleaned, even as the Chinese are cleaning ours.

Wall Street is the enemy of America. It has been for a couple of generations. It is not incorrect to say that Wall Street leaders are traitors to our nation and our way of life. Seeking short term profits they have gutted our industrial base to make profits in countries such as China. Now China is making it clear that they don't want Wall Street meddling in their countries and they are excluding the same idiots who empowered China in the first place.

I disagree with only one expression in Buchanan's article. There is no doubt whether we should laugh or cry. Crying is the only proper response to having watched our nation voluntarily gut our own economic might. I don't blame the socialists of the Democrat Party. They are intellectually committed to weakening America. Them I expect. When are Republicans going to wake up to what they are doing?

MSM Hypocrisy

It is hard to believe that the meltdown (after his 8 to 1 conviction and censure by the ethics committee) of Charlie Rangel (former Chairman of the powerful Ways and Means Committee) was not covered on the web sites of a single major MSM news outlet today. There was plenty of coverage of "Harry Potter" happenings, lies about the sale of GM stock for less than tax payers paid for it being an Obama "success", pictures of the Los Angeles Auto show and coverage of Barack Obama's latest world travels. Nothing about Rangle though.

You had to go to a conservative news site to find any mention of Charlie Rangle and his corrupt behavior. Compare his treatment with that of Tom Delay, who was accused of fewer and less serious charges than Rangel yet was driven from office. As has been typical of the MSM for 3 generations, nothing that embarrasses a Democrat will get coverage. After all "balanced news" to the MSM means smearing Republicans.

Clinton, Gore, And Kerry
Lost The White Vote Too

by Larry Elder - November 18, 2010 - Washington Examiner

"White America does not like having a black president."

Thus pronounced Michael Moore in an appearance on "Real Time with Bill Maher." And Maher agreed, "That is the truth."

"The statistics don't lie," Moore plowed ahead. "I'm not talking about polls. I'm talking about that the young people in '08 was the only -- do you know this? -- it's the only demographic -- white demographic -- that Obama won, 18- to 29-year-olds. Every other demographic, over 29, Obama lost the white vote. Every single one."

Crime solved. Case closed. Book 'em, Danno. Except for one minor detail: No Democratic presidential candidate has won the "white vote" since 1964.

Barack Obama won a larger percentage of the white vote than Kerry, by over 5%. Barack Obama had a 70% approval rating after he was elected. Were all these racists suddenly color blind? Stupid? A local black leader argued to me that I had to concede that Barack Obama had been insulted more egregiously than any other President in history. His evidence? A bunch of unelected bloggers with no power had said things that were not nice. Awwww. That these things were rejected by everyone with authority in both the Republican Party and the Tea Party movement was not enough. We had to make these nuts stop saying them or it was still our fault.

The outrageous insults against Reagan, Bush I and Bush II proclaimed by senior elected Democrat leaders (not unknown bloggers and isolated nuts) DID NOT MATTER. These were okay. After all it was only Republicans that were being insulted. The raging hypocrisy of his position was not discernible to this bigot.

This article by Larry Elder points out the hypocrisy of this local leader - as well as Michael Moore with his rant on Bill Maher's show. I cannot find a single Democrat District in America with only 3.8% black voters who have ever elected a black Representative. Colonel Allen West won overwhelmingly in such a district. J.C. Watts was elected in a state with only 8.1% black population. Tim Scott won in a District with 21% black, running with the supposedly "racist" Tea Party backing while defeating the Republican leadership candidate. Blacks win in Democrat districts only when the black population is the majority, at least within the Democrat Party if not the general population. It appears based on compelling facts that the most racist party in America is still the Democrat Party.

What do you make of the defeat of Michael Steele when he ran for the Maryland Senate seat. He won 50% of the white vote. He lost because he only got 25% of the black vote. Do you honestly think that means that the black community is not dominated by honkey hating racists?

Salvatore Giunta,
Medal of Honor Recipient

Some says he's no hero, but we respectfully beg to differ.

Editorial - November 17th, 2010 - New York Daily News

Staff Sgt. Salvatore Giunta did not want the Medal of Honor.

He did not want to be in the White House yesterday, standing straight as President Obama clasped the bright blue ribbon around his neck.

He did not want his family there, or the families of his fallen brothers-in-arms, or the soldiers of Company B, 2nd Battalion (Airborne), who fought valiantly with him in Afghanistan.

But there they were, each and every one deserving the ovations they received, and there was Giunta, a 25-year-old Iowan, reluctant recipient of America's highest commemoration of valor, the first living recipient since 1976, the eighth of the Afghanistan and Iraq conflicts.

Measured by the courage and selflessness he showed under fire, he's a hell of a soldier. Measured by the humility with which he has accepted this pinnacle of accolades, he's a hell of man, too.

From one old Marine to a true hero, "Hoo Rah!"

A Dog's Warning To America

by Jeannie DeAngelis - November 18th, 2010 - The American Thinker

Target was the famous pooch that saved the lives of 50 U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan. The dog "helped scare a suicide bomber who showed up at a base wearing 25 lbs of explosives, barking at and biting the terrorist. Target was hailed a hero... treated by medics as though she was a soldier."

Target survived IED explosions and the Taliban. However, surviving a local government employee was an insurmountable challenge even a canine war heroine couldn't win. Target was mistakenly euthanized.

Although the guilty employee is on administrative leave after unintentionally putting Target to sleep, unfortunately the dog that managed to make it to America from war-torn Afghanistan won't be returning home from doggy heaven any time soon.

One more GGG (Government Gestapo Goon) exacts his revenge on our citizens for not recognizing his superiority and properly kissing his ass. There is definitely an animal that should be put to death. The "guilty employee". The article makes a good point about Obamacare. The employee who put this dog to death even after the animal clinic had been informed about the dog, is a part of the same organization that will administer Obamacare.

Governor Sarah Palin's warning about death panels will soon be coming true, no matter how outraged President Obama acts about the insult to "good government employees".

Government Gestapo Goons
Are Our Future

America has long since started down the slippery slope to totalitarian abuse by Government Gestapo Goons (the GGG) who abuse laws to torment the citizenry. Every day brings new stories of the abuse inflicted on citizens by the out of control GGG. The scale of this abuse, and the arrogance gets worse by the hour.

As examples two, articles from today display the GGG in their self righteous idiocy to perfection.

Cops bust seven men playing chess in upper Manhattan park
Yacahuda "Y.A." Harrison, 49, one of those chess aficionados, said he saw those signs months ago and "asked the [Parks] ranger if we had permission to be there."

"The ranger said, 'Oh no, that's fine, that's only written for pedophiles.' "

Since then, he said, parents have welcomed him and the other players -- and even had their kids take chess lessons from them.

"The day we got picked up, there were no kids" in the playground, he said. "They treated us like drug dealers. All we were doing was playing chess."

Man arrested after punching TSA screener in Indy
It is not completely clear from the police report why Christina punched TSA agent Gregory J. Hutman, 28, Vandalia, Ohio... He had already stood and been scanned in a full-body advanced imaging machine before the incident...

Christina said he has a history of medical issues, including two metal implants, a colostomy bag and a fused right wrist...

When Hutman asked why Christina [lightly] hit him, Christina said, "I was only kidding with you," according to the report.

What is clear is that these GGG take themselves and their duties way too seriously. There is no one in authority who cares about citizens or cares about limiting the GGG ability to jerk citizens around. Thin skinned and snotty, these bureaucrats demand a docile and subservient tone or they strike back with vengeance. When did America become a country where abuse by bureaucrats is more of a problem than fear of crime?

One positive sign for limiting the power of the TSA "perverts" is documented in this article:
TSA Hit With Lawsuits As Revolt Explodes

Hopefully our courts will start to rein in these GGG before our culture of freedom is destroyed. It is encouraging to see that at least some of our citizens will not go down without a fight.

Sarah Palin, The Biggest Loser?

by Stuart Schwartz - November 16th, 2010 - The American Thinker

Media and political elites may disagree on the many consequences of what the president called a "shellacking" by the voters, but they largely agree that the biggest loser was Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin has once again been flagged for her unwillingness to play the game according to how the media and political professionals want it played. For them, it is a game, with taxpayer dollars as Monopoly money. But for Sarah Palin, it's about beliefs and values and service -- which disqualifies her, in their view, from life between the political lines. Sure, she won -- having helped more than sixty candidates to victory -- but, as Rush Limbaugh pointed out, the political and media elites are "a little miffed" at how the Tea Party and Palin put principle ahead of politics. C'mon, lady -- professionals don't do core beliefs!

It was her principles that represented the biggest negative for Karl Rove, whom Lee Cary of American Thinker characterized as the "lead consigliere for the Republican bluebloods." Rove attacked Palin as unfit for political leadership after she insisted on endorsing candidates based on their beliefs in limited government and traditional values. Principles, he sneered, are for amateurs; professionals believe in winning. In response to the attack of the former Bush advisor and Fox News analyst, Hot Air blogger Allahpundit reminded him that she is effective in large part because she is "authentic and unpretentious." Exactly, Rove thundered in return: those qualities have no place in Washington!

Karl Rove does not have any problem with an America dominated by totalitarian bureacrats, as long as he is one of the most important of those tyrants. He is not alone among the Republican elitists to show how out of touch he is with conservative values. That is easy to understand. He is not now and never has been a conservative. He is a big government progressive and "compassionate conservative" is a fraudulent ideology. Karl Rove and his disciple George W. Bush nearly destroyed the Republican Party. Its resurgence has been a result of running against the big government beliefs that Rove tried to foster.

Full Frontal Nudity
Doesn’t Make Us Safer:
Abolish The TSA

by Art Carden - November 14th, 2010 - Forbes Magazine

Are nailclippers and aftershave the tools of terrorists? What about the plastic cup of water I was told to dispose of because “it could be acid” (I quote the TSA screener) in New Orleans before the three-ounce rule? What about the can of Coke I was relieved of after a flight from Copenhagen to Atlanta a few months ago?

The ridiculous joke that George W. Bush foisted on us after the 9/11 disaster continues to get worse day by day. To claim that not a single solitary passenger can be identified as no risk to security unless you put every single passenger through an invasive search is the height of stupidity. The example in the article of the ridiculous search of pilots is proof this is a boondoggle of gargantuan porportions. What idiot thinks that the man who has his hands on the controls of the aircraft and can kill everyone without reliance on a single weapon, needs to be searched? Assurance he is who he says he is may be justified. A body search. How stupid are you?

I guess we are pretty stupid because no one seems willing to stop this totalitarian abuse. Even the Germans are mocking the process. Watch the video below and recognize how insane America has become. We demand the entire world follow our lead on these inspections and it makes us look like bufoons.

How long until we stop this farce?

About That Handshake ...

by John R. Bradley - November 13th, 2010 - New York Post

In Indonesia, as in the rest of Southeast Asia, it is the extremist Wahhabi form of Islam that is in the ascendancy. Bankrolled by Saudi Arabia, it is steadily eradicating the tolerant and pluralistic Islam that did indeed define Indonesia back when Obama lived there, many decades ago.

Nothing better illustrates the new Wahhabi stranglehold on Indonesian politics than the reaction of Tifatul Sembiring, the minister in question, to news reports about the now infamous handshake. Initially, he claimed that the physical contact had taken place without his consent, as if he had been seized by the well-toned First Lady and wrestled into submission.

We are in a war to the death with Islam. No matter how many Islamist defenders try to pretend that this is not true, it is unquestionably the reality that rational people have come to accept. Opposing Islam is not as the Islamo-fascists try to proclaim, Islamophobia, or hate of Islam. Most of us never gave it a thought until these fanatics decided we had to die. It is merely recognition of the true motivations of a 'religion' that is not a religion at all.

Islam is a political ideology based on a religious pretense. It requires socialism as its economic system. Yet its demand for a dictator is actually a more tyrannical form of government than even socialism usually requires. It is properly called fascism, which is why the term Islamo-fascist is the appropriate term for the religion. Islamo-fascist does not apply just to the extremists. It applies equally to the moderates who tolerate and embrace this ideology of extreme hate for all infidels.

Islam lies about itself. It claims Islam means peace. This is only true if you consider peace to be that calm the victor feels after he has beheaded those chosen as enemies. This is not peace. If you are not willing to become a Muslim, you will die or become a slave. Those are your only choices. To the Muslim, any rejection of those options makes you an Islamophobic who must be destroyed. This is not peace either.

So what do you choose? Conversion? Submission? Or do you have the courage to fight?

The Top Ten Reasons Why
Conservatives Should Not
Be Celebrating The Election Results

By Robert Eugene Simmons Jr. - November 12th, 2010 - The American Thinker

On November 2, 2010, the liberals suffered a defeat at the hands of the people over their policies implemented over the last two to four years. As a result, Many Republicans and Tea Party supporters are jubilant in their celebration, and even the often morose Glenn Beck has been heard to be excited about what he calls a turning point. However, the cold, hard reality is that liberalism suffered a defeat but not a crushing one, and the war is far from won. In the past, victories in these minor skirmishes have resulted in people becoming complacent. The battles that are not making the headlines in the war on freedom continue to rage despite the victory.

Extremely important article. Read the 10 reasons. They are all true and all frightening.

Global Warming, Global Taxes

by Thomas P. Kilgannon - November 12th, 2010 - The American Spectator

Within 72 hours of the Tea Party's "shellacking" of Obama and Pelosi, Ban Ki-moon, the UN Secretary-General, called for global taxation of the American public -- an idea endorsed by a high-level official of the Obama administration. Ban must not have been watching television on Election Night, because he missed the voters' rejection of big government, higher taxes, and out of control spending... Among the panelists recommending global taxes are George Soros, the financier of socialist change, and Larry Summers, President Obama's economic advisor.

The group's report begins with the claim that "Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time." Not true. There is doubt among scientists as to whether or not the earth's temperature is warming. There is even more skepticism attached to the theory that human activity could cause such a phenomenon. It matters not.

It is clear the emergency the United Nations is concerned with is the possibility that Obama will not be President long enough to get these taxes on Americans passed. Therefore they are in a panic to make it happen now.

China's SAIC Close
To GM IPO Stake Buy

by Staff(*) - November 10th, 2010 - Reuters

General Motors Co ... is in the final stage of talks to sell equity to long-time Chinese partner SAIC Motor Corp ... in conjunction with its landmark initial public offering, two people familiar with the matter said.

The two government-funded automakers are currently finalizing how much of a stake SAIC would buy in the top U.S. automaker after discussions involving technology sharing and SAIC's ambitions to move beyond the China market, the sources said.

After jamming through a bankruptcy plan that violated U.S. Law and the U.S. Constitution, it appears the Obama administration flunkies who currently run our state owned auto company are going to allow China to buy control and raid our technology too. I wonder how the secured creditors who saw their billions of dollars in preferential and rightful claims illegally dismissed by a liberal judge at the request of the Obama administration, feel now that the wealth stolen from them is going to be turned over to Communist China. I even wonder how the United Auto Workers Union feels. They were illegally given huge equity positions in the revived corporation in total violation of the law of bankruptcy. Do you think Communist China cares about their jobs and their pensions? How secure will their ill gotten gains remain if China is allowed to take over GM?

Palin's Dollar, Zoellick's Gold

Editorial - November 9th, 2010 - The Wall Street Journal

It would be hard to find two more unlikely intellectual comrades than Robert Zoellick, the World Bank technocrat, and Sarah Palin, the populist conservative politician. But in separate interventions yesterday, the pair roiled the global monetary debate in complementary and timely fashion.

The former Alaskan Governor showed sound political and economic instincts by inveighing forcefully against the Federal Reserve's latest round of quantitative easing. According to the prepared text of remarks that she released to National Review online, Mrs. Palin also exhibited a more sophisticated knowledge of monetary policy than any major Republican this side of Wisconsin Representative Paul Ryan.

Stressing the risks of Fed "pump priming," Mrs. Palin zeroed in on the connection between a "weak dollar—a direct result of the Fed's decision to dump more dollars onto the market"—and rising oil and food prices. She also noted the rising world alarm about the Fed's actions, which by now includes blunt comments by Germany, Brazil, China and most of Asia, among many others.

"We don't want temporary, artificial economic growth brought at the expense of permanently higher inflation which will erode the value of our incomes and our savings," the former GOP Vice Presidential nominee said. "We want a stable dollar combined with real economic reform. It's the only way we can get our economy back on the right track."

Mrs. Palin's remarks may have the beneficial effect of bringing the dollar back to the center of the American political debate, not to mention of the GOP economic platform. Republican economic reformers of the 1970s and 1980s—especially Ronald Reagan and Jack Kemp—understood the importance of stable money to U.S. prosperity
.

Repeatedly Governor Sarah Palin comes out with intelligent and insightful comments on complicated topics, and the left wing press ignores them and insists she is stupid. After the constant Alinsky attacks going back to the week she was made the GOP Vice Presidential candidate, professional politicians on both the left and right have been petrified they will have to deal with her on honest terms.

There are reasons she was the most popular Governor in America before the Alinsky attacks began. There are reasons she was successful in getting a pipeline project completed after it was delayed by political corruption for over 20 years. There are reasons why the Alaskan "Corrupt Bastards Club" of GOP officials still despise her to this day. There are reasons not a single one of the lies she was charged with during the attempts to malign her with ethics violations was ever successful.

Those reasons are the same reasons her supporters still believe in her. She is smart, committed, honest and cares about our nation. She has proved repeatedly she is a good manager from the time she was mayor.

You have to wonder what is the logic of the people who malign her with insults while never ever giving specifics of her shortcomings. Actually you have to wonder about the corruption of their intentions more than their logic.

The Keynesians Get Their Wish

by Peter Raymond - November 6th, 2010 - The American Thinker

The Keynesians finally got their wish. The Federal Reserve plans to inject $600 billion of the most caustic debt imaginable into the economy. This is the Agent Orange of monetary policies that has the potential to wreak financial havoc.

In the hope of generating inflation, the central bank is going to enable deficit spending by buying treasury bonds. You read that correctly: the primary goal is to erode the value of the dollar, and we get to watch our currency and wealth literally dissolve before our eyes.

Having shoved a trillion and half dollars of useless meaningless waste into our money system last year, Obama is now starting to shove another trillion dollars in inflation inducing "printed money" this year, along with another increase in the national debt to support more government waste that produces no wealth. As much as the euphoria of the Republican victory in the election bolstered the stock market, how can a continuation of these policies to devalue our currency not create another economic collapse?

Why I Quit... Desert Storm Vet
Explains Decision To Leave
Air Force After 22 Years

by Mike Banzet - November 7th, 2010 - Daily Inter Lake

You’ve elected officials who, for partisan points, spoke openly that the “…war is lost.” I happened to be in a dining facility in Baghdad that day, filled with the (mostly) young faces of (mostly) Army men and women. CNN was on the TVs, and things got very quiet when this elected official continued on, railing that the mission that some of these very people were here to do, had “…failed.” Yet, they would be donning their body armor, strapping on med kits and weapons, mounting HMMVs or MRAPs and heading outside the wire, ensuring that the newborn democracy in Iraq, purchased with so many lives, would be safe another night. The newly re-invigorated insurgents would be waiting, teeth bared back in a hateful smile, gripping the IED detonator, the RPG launcher, or the AK-47s to ply their trade with new energy, because the Senate Majority Leader had said they were winning.

You elected officials who continually defame and berate military members, whether it is the observation that if you’re not too bright, you’ll get “…stuck in Iraq” (this from a guy who has two Purple Hearts for self-inflicted wounds, and known for throwing someone else’s medals away in protest), or the calling of combat Marines cold-blooded killers (in a war; before trial). You’ve elected officials in the role of commander-in-chief who “loathe” the military, while using ROTC deferments and special treatment to avoid military service that the less “connected” take as a responsibility. On the basis of “change,” you elected someone who had close, ongoing associations with people who were part of an organization that tried to kill us [U.S. military] on our own soil.

Read this article. I know that some of you will read it and react with anger that this man would show such contempt for your "desire to help others" with what Margaret Thatcher called "other people's money". I didn't react that way. I sat down and cried. I realized immediately that having a majority of his constituents re-elect Harry Reid proved beyond doubt that the nation this man spent 22 years defending may well no longer be worth defending.

He is not alone. Resignations among officers are up. Re-enlistments are down. Some of us here in America did not see the recent election cycle as a victory, but another chapter in the slow slide of America down to a nation of squalor and greed, just like Haiti and Zimbabwe and all the other nations where class warfare is the tradition. Democrat support groups like Code Pink are openly giving hundreds of thousands of dollars to terrorist groups to kill our soldiers and not only does no one protest, Nancy Pelosi brings their leaders on to her campaign platform and praises their efforts.

This article is by a good man. However men such as Mike Banzet are no longer the norm in America. They were not rare once but that time has passed. Mike Banzet is a man of courage and intelligence in a nation of welfare greed and government corruption. That he is so rare is cause for all of us to cry for our nation. That he is giving up defending our nation is reason for depression.

West Says Racism Allegations
Against Tea Party By
Liberals Didn't Work

by Kevin Cullum - November 6th, 2010 - The Hill

Florida's first black Republican congressman credited the Tea Party with standing up against allegations of racism from the left in supporting his successful candidacy.

“So I think that the -- the liberal progressives saw the strength of the grass-roots movement that we call the Tea Party which stands for 'taxed enough already' and they tried to turn against it,” Rep.-elect Allen West (R-Fla.) said Friday on "Hannity" on Fox News.

“And the number one thing that you always try to do to silence an opponent in the United States of America is to call someone a racist.”

Elected in a District that is overwhelmingly white and wealthy, Colonel West was adored by the Tea Party movement. Though only grudgingly supported by the Republican establishment, West rode his Tea Party support to a convincing win. Veterans especially love the patriotic, ethical and courageous Allen West.

One of his early supporters was Sarah Palin, who considers West as one of our most important national leaders.

U.S. Is Not Greatest Country Ever

by Michael Kinsley - November 2nd, 2010 - Politico

The theory that Americans are better than everybody else is endorsed by an overwhelming majority of U.S. voters and approximately 100 percent of all U.S. politicians, although there is less and less evidence to support it. A recent Yahoo poll (and I resist the obvious joke here) found that 75 percent of Americans believe that the United States is “the greatest country in the world.” Does any other electorate demand such constant reassurance about how wonderful it is — and how wise? Having spent a month to a couple of years and many millions of dollars trying to snooker voters, politicians awaiting poll results Tuesday will declare that they put their faith in “the fundamental wisdom of the American people.”

Not me. Democracy requires me to respect the results of the elections. It doesn’t require me to agree with them or to admire the process by which voters made up their minds. In my view, anyone who voted for Barack Obama for president in 2008 and now is supporting some tea party madwoman for senator has a bit of explaining to do.

Wow. This is a perfect example of the vitriolic hatred for America being spewed by all the bitter left wing extremists in the Democrat Party who thought that they had finally exterminated any love for our nation not based on "redistribution of the wealth of others."

What is ironic is that the attitude Kinsley attributes to conservatives in the Tea Party is actually the attitude that his own party represents. Democrats are absolutely convinced that people who don't pay taxes should be able to demand government services paid for by others. To Kinsley this is not "calorie-free chocolate cake." I guess there is an exception when it is other people's money. As Margaret Thatcher once noted, socialism fails when "you run out of other people's money." Kinsley does not agree. He just throws a temper tantrum ranting against America when they vote against the continuation of "borrow and spend."

Election Nearly Wipes Out
White Southern Democrats

by Ben Evans - November 5th, 2010 - Associated Press (My Way News)

The white Southern Democrat - endangered since the 1960s civil rights era - is sliding nearer to extinction.

After this week's elections, the Democratic Party barely holds a presence in the region outside of majority-black urban areas such as Atlanta and Memphis. The carnage for the party was particularly brutal in the Deep South, where just one white Democrat survived across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina.

The Republicans' effort to win over the South, rooted decades ago in a strategy to capitalize on white voters' resentment of desegregation, is all but complete.

As usual the left wing writers of AP cannot see anything except race as the reason people vote Republican. Yet it is obvious that with 90% of blacks voting Democrat the far more racist party is the Democrat Party. It is also the more prone to reject moderates or conservatives as viable candidates. Unless you are too liberal to win the general election race in most Southern Democrat primaries you are doomed. Except for the racist districts created by the Department of Justice to elect exclusively black candidates, where whites need not apply.

The article failed to note the 4 white moderate Democrats who survived here in North Carolina. However the reality is that they are doomed to defeat long term because they are required to support the radical left wing agenda of their radical left wing party and thus they can only subvert the interests of the center right North Carolinians who voted for them. David Price, Heath Shuler, Larry Kissel and Mike McIntyre are true anachronisms. They are totally out of touch with their party. No matter how much in touch they are with their districts, they are supporting policies that their voters reject by simply aiding the head count for the Democrats, while having no power at all in the ruling of our nation. How long will it be before their voters understand the stupidity of sending anachronisms to Washington?

Until now, the conservative Democrat in North Carolina has been kept alive as much as anything because of the historical dominance of the Democrat Party in local and state elections. However that state dominance ended in the recent North Carolina elections. After 112 years the Democrat Party lost control of the legislature. Since it is at a critical time, just before redistricting, the egregious gerrymandering of districts by Democrats is about to be reduced. Except for the interference of the Department of Justice, something you can be sure will occur with the left wing bigotry of our federal officials, North Carolina Republicans will reduce the corrupt structure that has stolen the rights of Republican voters for over a century. It is about time.

GOP Wins Majority In
Both Legislative Chambers
[Of North Carolina]

by Lynn Bonner and Michael Biesecker - November 2nd, 2010 - Raleigh Obsever

Republicans made history on Election Day as they seized control of North Carolina’s legislature for the first time in more than a century.

Democratic leaders in both the state House and Senate conceded to their Republican counterparts late Tuesday.

This was more than a wave election. It was also a lot of hard work. My congratulations to the huge number of people all over North Carolina who worked to overcome a century of one party rule in North Carlina. It has been embarrassing to be thought the most corrupt state in the nation, as some have called us. It has been embarrasing to watch political corruption dominate the legislative process for so many years.

We are not done. To overcome the destruction of our schools, the dominance by global socialists of our news media, the growing dependence on socialist handouts by so many of our people, the cultural destruction of our youth's commitment to excellence, the perversion of the idea of free markets by the Wall Street Kleptocrats; changing all of this will take many years.

This must not be seen as victory in a war, but a first victory in one battle to take our country back.

It is also not just a North Carolina victory. We have started the push back against the socialist movement all over the nation with the partial victory in the U.S. Congress. Take a moment to feel good. Then get back in the battle. We are not done.
